Terms of Service

Welcome to Paddle Point Leagues. These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and Paddle Point Leagues (“Paddle Point,” “we,” “us”) that applies whenever you use paddlepointleagues.com. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

What Paddle Point is

Paddle Point organizes team pickleball leagues for residential communities — signups, teams, weekly match schedules, score reporting, standings, and playoffs. We run the league platform; the pickleball itself happens on real courts, organized by you and your neighbors.

Your account

  • Players under 18 are welcome to play, but a parent or guardian must set up and oversee the account and agrees to these terms on the player's behalf.
  • Keep your account information accurate — your name, contact details, and skill level are used to run leagues fairly, and your teammates and opponents rely on them.
  • Your account is yours alone. Don't share it or enter scores on someone else's behalf unless you're their team captain acting within the normal score-entry flow.
  • Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk. You're responsible for keeping your login method (password or Google account) secure.

Fees

The Fall 2026 pilot season is free. We expect future seasons to charge a league fee. If and when that happens, we'll announce pricing clearly before you sign up for a paid season — you'll never be charged without agreeing to a price first.

Fair play and scores

League results only mean something if the scores are honest. By playing, you agree to the platform's score-integrity flow:

  • Team captains enter match scores after play.
  • The opposing side reviews and confirms (or disputes) the result. Results not acted on within 48 hours are confirmed automatically.
  • League administrators have final say on disputed results, forfeits, scheduling questions, and eligibility.
  • Entering scores you know to be false, playing ineligible players, or otherwise gaming the standings is grounds for removal.

Acceptable use

Be a good neighbor — this is a community league. Don't harass or abuse other players on or off the platform, don't misuse other players' contact information, and don't attempt to break, probe, or overload the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, to protect the leagues and the people in them.

Playing at your own risk

Pickleball is a physical sport. Paddle Point schedules matches and tracks results — we don't supervise play, maintain courts, or assess anyone's fitness to play. You participate at your own risk, and you're responsible for deciding whether you're able to play safely and for following your community's rules for its facilities.

The service, as-is

We work hard to keep Paddle Point accurate and available, but we provide it “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paddle Point and its owners aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before a claim (which, during the free pilot, is zero).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform grows (for example, when paid seasons launch). When we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the app or by email. Continuing to use Paddle Point after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Collier County, Florida.
